The L.I.F.E. Method

The L.I.F.E. Method
Liberation. Integration. Focus. Embodiment.
The L.I.F.E. Method is a trauma-informed, neuroscience-aligned approach developed by Richard Grode to help clients move from survival to true thriving. Drawing from decades of lived experience, recovery-based coaching, hypnotherapy, and somatic practices, this method provides a flexible structure for personal transformation.
What is the L.I.F.E. Method?
Each element of L.I.F.E. serves as a pillar in the healing journey:
-
Liberation— Release from the patterns, beliefs, and protective strategies that no longer serve you.
-
Integration— Weaving together past experiences with present awareness so that emotional clarity and wholeness emerge.
-
Focus— Supporting nervous system regulation and clarity through guided sessions, breathwork, and light-based technologies.
-
Embodiment— Developing the ability to live fully in your body with safety, presence, and self-leadership.

Modalities Within the L.I.F.E. Method
-
Hypnotherapy & Guided Imagery
Unlock the subconscious mind to uncover limiting beliefs, create new narratives, and access internal resources. -
Neuroscience-Informed Recovery Coaching
Using practical, brain-based strategies to support behavioral change, habit transformation, and long-term recovery. -
Breathwork & Somatic Awareness
Help reconnect to the body, discharge stuck energy, and create safe pathways for emotional regulation. -
Light & Neurostimulation Tools
Including Vielight neurotechnology, red light therapy (Biomax 900), and other non-invasive modalities to enhance focus, reduce inflammation, and support mood.
Bilateral Stimulation & Hypno-EMDR Techniques
At more advanced stages of the process, we may integrate elements of bilateral stimulation—inspired by EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—as a tool for emotional resolution and integration.
These may include:
-
Left/right eye movement cues
-
Bilateral audio stimulation
-
Tactile tapping or light pulses
These tools are introduced only when safety and trust have been established, and are always tailored to your needs. Combined with hypnotherapy or imagery, they can support the brain's natural ability to reprocess unresolved emotional experiences, especially for clients who feel "stuck" in loops of anxiety, fear, or trauma.
Please note: While we draw from EMDR-inspired tools and methods, this is not EMDR therapy as defined by EMDRIA or administered under clinical licensure. Our use of bilateral techniques is designed for personal growth and wellness.
