Neuro Body Regulation Therapy

The NBRT Method
Neuro Biomechanical Repatterning Therapy
NBRT is a hands-on clinical bodywork system developed by Richard Grode over decades of work with athletes, trauma survivors, and clients seeking deep structural and emotional transformation. It is based on the understanding that the body holds patterns—physical, neurological, and emotional—which must be addressed in unison for lasting transformation.
This method blends structural integration, somatic repatterning, and nervous system education to reset chronic holding patterns, restore mobility, and promote a deeply embodied sense of safety and resilience.
What Does NBRT Address?
NBRT sessions are especially effective for:
-
Chronic pain and tension
-
Trauma-related muscular or postural holding
-
Movement imbalances or compensation patterns
-
Nervous system dysregulation
-
Emotional states held somatically (grief, fear, anger, etc.)

Core Components of NBRT
-
Clinical Touch Techniques – e.g., fascia release, decompression, postural correction.
-
Neuro-Somatic Repatterning – slow, intentional movement to retrain reflexive patterns.
-
Breath and Movement Awareness – conscious breath to support internal release.
-
Client Education & Integration – tools to maintain gains and continue progress between sessions.
What to Expect in a Session
NBRT is not a typical massage. Sessions are collaborative, often involving:
-
Standing postural and movement assessments
-
Table work with clothes on or off (depending on client comfort)
-
Breath-guided hands-on techniques
-
Client participation in movements or breath to enhance release
Clients often leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and with a deeper sense of internal connection.
Why NBRT Works
The NBRT Method helps “repattern” the body from the inside out. It supports the brain in letting go of outdated protective responses and guides the body back into balance—not just physically, but emotionally and energetically as well.
It’s especially powerful when combined with other work such as the L.I.F.E. Method or light-based therapy.
